Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about TERMOGRAF™ products, orders, and services.
4 Product
What is TERMOGRAF™ and how does it work?
TERMOGRAF™ is a professional temperature and humidity data logger with a built-in thermal printer, designed and manufactured by Synchro SRL in Romania. It continuously records temperature (and optionally humidity) at configurable intervals and stores data in tamper-proof non-volatile memory. At any checkpoint — a loading dock, warehouse, or audit — you press a button and the device instantly prints a complete temperature report. No laptop, no Wi-Fi, no software required. Models are available with 1 or 2 probes, temperature-only or temperature + humidity.
What is the difference between 1-probe and 2-probe models?
A 1-probe model (TG5-1T) measures a single temperature zone — ideal for pharma shipments or single-compartment vehicles. A 2-probe model (TG5-2T) records two independent temperature points simultaneously, useful for dual-compartment trucks (e.g., frozen + chilled) or monitoring front-to-back variation in large cold rooms. The TG5-2TRH variant adds a combined temperature and relative humidity probe for environments where humidity control is required (e.g., vaccine storage, tobacco).
How long does the thermal paper last?
The thermal paper roll provides approximately 15–20 full reports per roll, depending on the recording duration printed. Replacement rolls are available in our online store. The printed text remains legible for 5+ years when stored away from direct sunlight and heat, which satisfies archiving requirements for GDP and HACCP documentation.
What is the SensorsReport subscription?
SensorsReport is an optional cloud add-on that connects your TG5 data logger to a real-time web dashboard via a gateway. It streams temperature readings to the cloud, provides instant SMS/email alerts on excursions, and offers historical analytics with PDF/CSV export. The TG5 continues to record autonomously — SensorsReport adds live visibility without replacing the logger's standalone capability. Subscriptions are billed annually per sensor.
4 Technical
What temperature range do the probes support?
The standard temperature probes support a range of –30°C to +70°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. This covers the vast majority of cold chain applications: frozen food transport (–18°C to –25°C), pharmaceutical storage (2–8°C), ambient monitoring (15–25°C), and warm storage. Extended-range probes are available for specialized applications — contact us for details.
Is TERMOGRAF™ GDP-compliant for pharmaceutical use?
Yes. TERMOGRAF TG5 meets the temperature monitoring requirements of EU Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines 2013/C 343/01. It provides continuous recording with tamper-proof data storage, traceable calibration certificates, and instant printout for audit documentation. Many pharmaceutical wholesalers and 3PL providers across Europe use TERMOGRAF for GDP compliance. See our Pharma industry page for details.
Does TERMOGRAF™ meet HACCP requirements for food?
Yes. TERMOGRAF TG5 is designed to comply with EU Regulation 852/2004 (HACCP) and is tested to EN 12830 — the European standard for temperature recorders in food transport and storage. The built-in thermal printer provides instant proof of temperature compliance at receiving docks, which is a key HACCP Critical Control Point. See our Food industry page for more.
How often should I calibrate my TERMOGRAF™?
We recommend annual calibration to maintain traceable measurement accuracy and regulatory compliance. All TERMOGRAF TG5 devices ship with a traceable calibration certificate. When recalibration is due, send the device to a TERMOGRAF-authorized laboratory for a multi-point calibration (typically 3–5 temperature points). You'll receive a new certificate with measurement uncertainties and pass/fail results. For fleets of 10+ devices, we offer batch scheduling and loaner devices. Read our blog post on why calibration matters.

What is the dealer program?
The TERMOGRAF Dealer Program offers wholesale pricing, dedicated account management, and marketing support to qualified distributors and resellers. As an approved dealer, you access tiered pricing based on volume, priority support, and co-branded marketing materials. The program is designed for companies that regularly supply cold chain monitoring equipment to end customers in pharma, food, or logistics sectors.
How do I apply for dealer status?
Visit our Dealer Registration page and complete the application form. You'll need to provide your company name, EU VAT number (validated via VIES), business description, and estimated annual volume. Our team reviews applications within 3–5 business days. Once approved, you receive access to the dealer portal with wholesale pricing and order management tools.
What are the dealer pricing benefits?
Approved dealers receive volume-based wholesale discounts (typically 15–40% off retail depending on tier and volume commitment), net-30 payment terms via bank transfer, priority technical support, and access to marketing kits with product images, brochures, and co-branding guidelines. Higher-volume dealers qualify for additional benefits including loaner devices for demonstrations and dedicated account managers.
